New Zealand skipper Richie McCaw knows his side will have to cut out the errors when they face England in the second Test in Dunedin.
The All Blacks came dangerously close to losing their long unbeaten run at Eden Park in the first Test before Conrad Smith’s 78th-minute try snatched a 20-15 victory.
And McCaw admits the world champions have to produce an improved display at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.
“Everyone realises that some of the inaccuracies we had last week, and the energy we had especially, in the first half, if we get that again we’re going to come second,” said McCaw.
New Zealand coach Steve Hansen has tweaked his back division for the second Test, with Ben Smith switching to full-back and Julian Savea coming in on the wing.
Savea has scored has scored 19 tries in 20 Tests, but the powerhouse winger will come up against an equally fearsome sight in the England team – with Manu Tuilagi moving to the wing.
Tuilagi started the first Test in the centres, but with head coach Stuart Lancaster having the luxury of naming a full-strength line-up, the Leicester man has been asked to negate the threat of Savea.
Lancaster said: “Savea is a huge attacking threat for them. If you look back at the game in November against us, his threat was clear because he scored two tries. He’s a key man for them.

“I’m sure there will be occasions when Manu and Julian come across each other.
“Both teams will use Manu or Savea off the wing. Savea will definitely pose a threat through the midfield, as will Manu.”
With the playing contingent from Saracens and Northampton now available after missing the opening match due to the scheduling clash with the Premiership final, changes to the England side were always likely.
And Lancaster has made five in total to the starting XV, with Luther Burrell and Billy Twelvetrees reunited in the midfield – forcing Tuilagi to move out wide – while Owen Farrell and Danny Care start are the half-backs.
The sole change in the pack sees Tom Wood replace James Haskell in the back-row, while Kieran Brookes and Chris Ashton have been added to the bench.
Freddie Burns and Ben Youngs drop to the bench, while Jonny May, Kyle Eastmond and Haskell are all omitted from the squad.
